National Dog Show Brings John O'Hurley's Humor & Your Favorite Dog Breeds

A fun family Thanksgiving tradition for dog lovers

National Dog Show Brings John O'Hurley's Humor & Your Favorite Dog Breeds

You don't have to be a show dog person to enjoy the fun of the National Dog Show presented by Purina®. If you love dogs, and enjoy seeing the unique qualities of the various breeds, especially those that make up your own dog, the place to be Thanksgiving Day is in front of your TV on NBC. It comes on in high def, right after the Macy's Parade.

What keeps the National Dog Show so entertaining, other than the drama of the event itself, is the witty commentary by host, John O'Hurley , who played J.Peterman on Seinfeld, won Dancing with the Stars in the first season, hosts Family Feud and stars in Spamalot. John O'Hurley is also a big-time dog lover and author of two amusing books inspired by his own dogs.

The National Dog Show is the most widely viewed dog show in America. Over 2,000 dogs come to vie for the Best in Breed status and pant for that coveted Best in Show title. Their owners hope for that too!
