I don’t notice anything different, but I keep hearing this word Christmas. Wendie, my servant, has not been spending nearly enough time with me, just running around “Christmas, Christmas, and Christmas.” Finally it seems as things have calmed down, except we have a houseguest. I knew Byron had really come to see me, but now it is time for him to go home! I just want to be with Wendie. She needs to be petting me, feeding me, and loving me. What else is there for her to do?

HI, I'm Sweeti Pi and I'm a five lb. yorkie. Know what,I speak in a high, small voice and say each nite, Goodnite Uncle Daddy, I Love You. Know what, Xmas this year, cause Mommy adopted me 1/30/09, was awesome! Homeade dog biscuits, squeaky/chewy toys, xmas ornaments, sweater, and talking ball all for me! Know what, I LOVE TEARING PAPER! I got a red velvet dress with a ruffle on it that says Santa's Baby. I even have a shape in it! Know what, can't wait till next year!! Bye!!

I love the holidays! My mom takes me on lots of car rides while she does her shopping. I get to go in the pet store and pick my own gifts. I especially love the parties because all my friends come over and there are more people to pay attention to me. The little ones always drop food which is great! Best of all, my mom holds me a little more and kisses me... I think it is because she is remembering my sister ZsaZsa who isn't here anymore and she is so happy to have me to love.

Kitty bed warming near an open fire,
catnip tickling my nose,
Neighborhood cats wollering, what a choir!
I'm wearing Christmas bows.
Prancing on my toes, beneath mistletoe,
imagining this very sight
my green eyes are aglow
I'll find it hard to sleep tonight.
Found me a home, I'm on my way
to lot's of love and petting everyday.
My new family is going to sigh
when they hear my purr, feel my fur, they'll cry!
Now I hope to finally use a Breeze,
have a PurinaOne crunchy or two,
my warm meow is saying
Merry Christmas to you.

I didn’t have a good start in life- lots of abuse and neglect and a scary animal shelter where I was almost put down because of my breed. Then my forever mommy rescued me and loved me and made me not scared anymore. Now I’m an 80 pound pit bull who loves to crawl into laps for snuggles, and my perfect holiday season is simple- to put on my jacket and boots to tromp in the snow, cuddle with mom under blankets on cold nights, and open a brand new hedgepig and bully stick on Christmas morning.

I’m Rebel and I was adopted four years ago. I had some pretty bad health issues - heartworm, infections, and allergies. It took awhile to get me back on my feet, but it was worth it. I currently have three other Springer Spaniels sharing my home - one was abused, one neglected, and one from a puppy mill. Several dogs stay here for awhile until they find their new forever homes and I keep an eye on them to make sure they all behave. My perfect holiday season would be to find great forever homes for all the homeless animals.

Emmie would love to spend the holidays in a Wisconsin dairy barn surrounded by Magical Cows. All the good things in life come from the Magical Cow ... hamburgers, cheese, rawhide bones and ice cream. The barn would feature a 6' cheese Christmas tree, a different one every day, and decorated with rawhide. Every hour, busloads of people would pull up in front of the barn to pet Emmie and tell her what a good girl she is. In the evenings, she would nap peacefully on her memory foam dog bed surrounded by her family.

Dasher, the Maltazu is leading the local Dog Alliance meeting. The holiday goal - give gifts to as many dogs as possible. We will meet here on Christmas Eve to distribute schedules. Delivery will be to animals shelters first, then to puppies, then to other dogs. Collection points will be at local businesses.
To the tune of Jingle Bells our collection song:
Toys for dogs (Repeat)
Bring us lots of toys
We're collecting toys and treats
for dogs around the world
Chewy toys, bouncy balls
Any treat will do
Please no chocolate
Don't forget
The dogs depend on you.

The tree will be safetly attached to the wall so I can climb it and be decorated with hanging mousies and tiny bells. Tons of catnip will be sprinkled around presents and tuna scented candles will burn. The radio will have cats meowing to the tune of Jingle Bells! Oh, and of course my human will serve mounds of delicious salamon in crystal bowls.
