Samoyed
The Samoyed is a friendly, outgoing and devoted dog. They are protective of their homes; no intruder will ever go unheard, as Samoyeds are quite vocal. They get along well with children and like to be included in all family activities. However, if they are left to their own devices, they can be destructive. They are great diggers and escape artists, so a high fence would be a good investment.

Samoyed
These herding dogs from northern Russia acquired their name from the nomadic tribes for whom they guarded and herded reindeer. They shared tents with the tribespeople, so they developed a great love of family life. Many explorers used these dogs when there was an increase in polar exploration.
