Norwich Terrier
Norwich Terriers are intelligent, lively and friendly little dogs that can be a bit headstrong at times. They should be socialized from an early age, particularly with cats, as they will chase them given half a chance. These dogs are known to bark and dig a lot unless they receive adequate training and exercise. As puppies, they are so lively and playful that they could try the patience of a saint.

Norwich Terrier
The Norwich Terrier has been around for over 100 years. The ancestors of this little dog may have included the Border Terrier, the Cairn Terrier and a red terrier from Ireland. During the late 1800’s, they were popular with the students at Cambridge University, so much so that they became their mascot. This dog was originally known as the Norwich Terrier and was first recognized in the UK in 1932. However, some of these dogs’ ears were erect and pointy, while others had droopy ears. In 1965, the droopy-eared terrier was renamed the Norfolk Terrier.
