Greyhound
Indoors, these dogs are calm and social, and can even be rather lazy. Outdoors, their natural hunting instinct is always present, so owners should keep close watch. They normally get along well with other dogs in the house, but cat owners should exercise extreme caution. As sprinters, Greyhounds have relatively low endurance and should be given sufficient opportunity to sleep.

Greyhound
Greyhounds have been among the most treasured dogs for thousands of years. Pharaohs and other Egyptian, Asian and African leaders had images of these dogs engraved in their tombs dating as far back as 4000 B.C. During the ensuing centuries, Greyhounds became extremely popular and spread through the near East and Europe, eventually arriving in Britain where they became a status symbol, so much so that in 1016 only the elite were allowed to own a Greyhound.
