Belgian Sheepdog
The Belgian Sheepdog is not a breed for those wanting “just a dog.” They do not make ideal kennel dogs, as they become bored and destructive. The Belgian is very affectionate and totally devoted to their families. They want to join in with everything, including doing the dishes and gardening.
Belgian Sheepdog
The Belgian Shepherd dog is the only breed in the world that comes in four varieties. They are named after the areas in Belgium from which they came: Laeken, Tervuren, Groenendael and Malines. Hardworking sheepdogs like these have been recognized in Belgium since the Middle Ages. The Belgian Sheepdog is known as the Groenendael, and the breed was used to find wounded soldiers and carry messages during World War I.
