We know the perfect places to get away – right in the office!
At the office, Ava and I are quite in demand. Between meetings, appearances and chasing rubber bands, we find it difficult to get a moment to ourselves.
But being cats, we are up to this kind of challenge. And I must say, we’ve found some rather creative places to slip away…
For example, people are so concerned with conducting business on top of conference tables that they completely overlook the space under them. We especially like it when people put skirts on the tables… the better for us to hide from them…
Too often, people overlook the value of simply hiding behind things. Not us, however… we duck behind people’s things all the time. While people tend to find this very charming, we find it very useful.
When we can’t go under or behind, we simply go UP. Shelves, for example, can be perfectly wonderful places to hide. Ava prefers the top shelf for a quick nap… because people don’t tend to pay attention to places they can’t reach. This is perfect for us, because despite our undeniable magnetism, sometimes we simply don’t want to be reached.
